According to ASTM D36 method, the softening point of this grade of bitumen is between 110 and 120 ° C and the flash point is 260 ° C.

Production Method

1. Selected penetration grade bitumen is heated in an oxidation reactor.
2. Hot air is injected into the bitumen under controlled conditions.
3. The reaction continues until the required softening point and penetration are reached.
4. The product is cooled, tested, and packed in bags, cartons, drums, or bulk.

Oxidized Bitumen 75/25 is formulated for waterproofing, roofing, pipe coating, insulation, sealants, and industrial protection applications.

Packing of this type of bitumen would be 25 kg poly bags or 25 kg carton boxes with pallets or without pallets.
