Bahan hidrokarbon separa pepejal dan stabil ini diperoleh daripada penapisan pecahan berat minyak mentah. Disebabkan sifat emoliennya, keupayaannya untuk membentuk lapisan pelindung pada kulit dan kestabilan kimia yang tinggi, ia memegang kedudukan penting dalam formulasi produk topikal.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Sifat dan Ciri Kimia Jeli Petroleum  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vaseline, juga dikenali sebagai jeli petroleum atau parafin lembut, ialah campuran separa pepejal hidrokarbon tepu rantai panjang yang diperoleh daripada pecahan sisa penyulingan minyak mentah.<\/p>\n<p>Ia biasanya berwarna putih hingga krim muda, tidak berbau atau hampir tidak berbau, dan dianggap stabil secara kimia dan agak lengai.<\/p>\n<p>Bahan mentah utama untuk Vaseline ialah pecahan petroleum berat yang dikenali sebagai lilin kendur.
