Lors de nombreux forages, les formations pr\u00e9sentent des fractures, des pores et des zones de schiste instables susceptibles d&rsquo;entra\u00eener des pertes de fluide, une instabilit\u00e9 du puits et des probl\u00e8mes de forage. La gilsonite contribue \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre efficacement ces probl\u00e8mes.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;un des principaux avantages de la gilsonite r\u00e9side dans son excellente capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler les pertes de fluide. Les particules de gilsonite forment un g\u00e2teau de filtration fin et r\u00e9sistant sur la paroi du puits, r\u00e9duisant ainsi la quantit\u00e9 de fluide de forage qui p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans la formation. Ceci permet de pr\u00e9server les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s du fluide de forage et de prot\u00e9ger le r\u00e9servoir.<\/p>\n<p>La gilsonite est \u00e9galement largement utilis\u00e9e pour pr\u00e9venir les pertes de circulation. Lors du forage de formations fractur\u00e9es ou tr\u00e8s perm\u00e9ables, la boue de forage, co\u00fbteuse, peut s&rsquo;infiltrer dans la formation. La gilsonite comble et scelle ces ouvertures, r\u00e9duisant ainsi les pertes de boue et minimisant les temps d&rsquo;arr\u00eat.<\/p>\n<p>Un autre avantage important est le renforcement et la stabilisation du puits. La gilsonite renforce les formations fragiles et les zones schisteuses, r\u00e9duisant ainsi les risques d&rsquo;effondrement du puits, d&rsquo;\u00e9boulements et de coincement de la tige de forage. Une paroi de puits plus stable garantit des op\u00e9rations de forage plus s\u00fbres et plus efficaces.<\/p>\n<p>La gilsonite am\u00e9liore la lubrification des fluides de forage, r\u00e9duisant le frottement entre la garniture de forage et la paroi du puits. Ceci contribue \u00e0 diminuer le couple et la tra\u00een\u00e9e, tout en am\u00e9liorant l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 du forage.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, la gilsonite offre des performances exceptionnelles dans les environnements de forage \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature et haute pression (HTHP). Sa stabilit\u00e9 thermique lui permet de conserver son efficacit\u00e9 m\u00eame dans des conditions de fond de puits extr\u00eames.<\/p>\n<p>La gilsonite est compatible avec les boues \u00e0 base d&rsquo;eau (WBM) et les boues \u00e0 base d&rsquo;huile (OBM), ce qui en fait un additif polyvalent pour une large gamme d&rsquo;applications de forage.<\/p>\n<p>Pour toutes ces raisons, la gilsonite est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme un additif essentiel pour les fluides de forage. Elle contribue \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les pertes de fluide, \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir les pertes de circulation, \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la stabilit\u00e9 du puits, \u00e0 optimiser les performances de forage et \u00e0 diminuer les co\u00fbts globaux de forage.
