Cette mati\u00e8re hydrocarbon\u00e9e stable et semi-solide est obtenue par le raffinage de fractions lourdes du p\u00e9trole brut. En raison de ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e9mollientes, de sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 former une barri\u00e8re protectrice sur la peau et de sa grande stabilit\u00e9 chimique, elle occupe une place importante dans la formulation des produits topiques.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Nature chimique et caract\u00e9ristiques de la vaseline  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La vaseline, \u00e9galement connue sous le nom de gel\u00e9e de p\u00e9trole ou de paraffine molle, est un m\u00e9lange semi-solide d&rsquo;hydrocarbures satur\u00e9s \u00e0 longue cha\u00eene provenant des fractions r\u00e9siduelles de la distillation du p\u00e9trole brut.<\/p>\n<p>Il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de couleur blanche \u00e0 cr\u00e8me claire, inodore ou presque, et est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme chimiquement stable et relativement inerte.<\/p>\n<p>La mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re principale de la vaseline est constitu\u00e9e de fractions lourdes de p\u00e9trole connues sous le nom de \u00ab\u00a0slack wax\u00a0\u00bb. Apr\u00e8s avoir subi des processus de raffinage avanc\u00e9s, le slack wax est transform\u00e9 en gel\u00e9e de p\u00e9trole. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa structure non polaire, la vaseline forme une couche occlusive \u00e0 la surface de la peau, emp\u00eachant la perte d&rsquo;eau et contribuant \u00e0 maintenir l&rsquo;hydratation de la peau. Cette propri\u00e9t\u00e9 la rend tr\u00e8s efficace pour traiter les peaux s\u00e8ches et ab\u00eem\u00e9es.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Gel\u00e9e de p\u00e9trole Importance de la purification et consid\u00e9rations de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La gel\u00e9e de p\u00e9trole brut peut contenir des compos\u00e9s tels que des hydrocarbures aromatiques polycycliques (HAP). S&rsquo;ils sont pr\u00e9sents en concentrations \u00e9lev\u00e9es, ces compos\u00e9s peuvent avoir des effets canc\u00e9rig\u00e8nes et avoir un impact n\u00e9gatif sur les syst\u00e8mes endocrinien et hormonal. <\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est pourquoi la purification est l&rsquo;une des \u00e9tapes les plus critiques de la production de vaseline. Dans les cat\u00e9gories pharmaceutique et cosm\u00e9tique, des processus de raffinage en profondeur sont mis en \u0153uvre pour \u00e9liminer compl\u00e8tement les impuret\u00e9s et garantir que le produit final r\u00e9pond aux normes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 humaine. <\/p>\n<p>Aux \u00c9tats-Unis, la Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classe la vaseline purifi\u00e9e parmi les produits en vente libre, ce qui signifie qu&rsquo;elle peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 lorsqu&rsquo;elle est fabriqu\u00e9e conform\u00e9ment aux normes \u00e9tablies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Processus de production industrielle de la vaseline  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La production industrielle de vaseline peut \u00eatre r\u00e9sum\u00e9e en cinq \u00e9tapes principales :<\/p>\n<p>Raffinage du p\u00e9trole brut dans les raffineries<\/p>\n<p>Extraction de fractions lourdes et production de gel\u00e9e de p\u00e9trole brut<\/p>\n<p>Purification et \u00e9limination des impuret\u00e9s<\/p>\n<p>Ajout de compos\u00e9s compl\u00e9mentaires et am\u00e9lioration des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s physiques<\/p>\n<p>Production de vaseline purifi\u00e9e en diff\u00e9rentes concentrations et emballage final<\/p>\n<p>Chacune de ces \u00e9tapes est expliqu\u00e9e ci-dessous.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Origine du p\u00e9trole brut et extraction des fractions lourdes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La principale mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re de la vaseline est le p\u00e9trole brut, qui se forme au cours de longues p\u00e9riodes g\u00e9ologiques par diagen\u00e8se de mati\u00e8res organiques.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les raffineries, le p\u00e9trole brut subit une distillation fractionn\u00e9e qui permet de s\u00e9parer diff\u00e9rentes fractions. Parmi ces fractions, les huiles lourdes servent de mat\u00e9riau de base pour la production de gel\u00e9e de p\u00e9trole. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Production de gel\u00e9e de p\u00e9trole<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Distillation sous vide : S\u00e9paration pr\u00e9cise des fractions de p\u00e9trole lourd<\/p>\n<p>Traitement au charbon actif ou \u00e0 l&rsquo;argile de blanchiment : \u00c9limination des compos\u00e9s aromatiques et autres impuret\u00e9s<\/p>\n<p>Soufflage d&rsquo;air : Am\u00e9lioration de la texture, de l&rsquo;uniformit\u00e9 et \u00e9limination des bulles d&rsquo;air emprisonn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Filtration en plusieurs \u00e9tapes : \u00c9limination compl\u00e8te des particules en suspension et augmentation de la puret\u00e9<\/p>\n<p>Le r\u00e9sultat de cette \u00e9tape est la gel\u00e9e de p\u00e9trole purifi\u00e9e, qui sert de base \u00e0 la production finale de vaseline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Formulation finale de la vaseline<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;obtention de la gel\u00e9e de p\u00e9trole purifi\u00e9e, le processus de fabrication final commence :<\/p>\n<p>Fusion et m\u00e9lange : La vaseline est fondue dans de grandes cuves avec de l&rsquo;huile de paraffine et de la cire de paraffine. L&rsquo;huile de paraffine est utilis\u00e9e pour ajuster la consistance et la viscosit\u00e9. <\/p>\n<p>Ajout de lanoline : la lanoline (cire de laine) est ajout\u00e9e pour renforcer l&rsquo;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 et am\u00e9liorer la texture.<\/p>\n<p>Ajout de vitamine E ou d&rsquo;autres additifs : Pour augmenter les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s antioxydantes et am\u00e9liorer les performances de la peau.<\/p>\n<p>Ajout d&rsquo;un parfum (si n\u00e9cessaire) : Pour les applications cosm\u00e9tiques.<\/p>\n<p>Filtration finale : G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, la filtration se fait en trois \u00e9tapes pour garantir une puret\u00e9 totale.<\/p>\n<p>Emballage : Le produit final est conditionn\u00e9 dans des conteneurs en polypropyl\u00e8ne ou dans des emballages industriels standard et pr\u00e9par\u00e9 pour la distribution sur le march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications et qualit\u00e9s de la vaseline<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La vaseline est produite en quatre cat\u00e9gories principales, en fonction des normes de qualit\u00e9 et de l&rsquo;utilisation pr\u00e9vue<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vaseline de qualit\u00e9 cosm\u00e9tique<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ce grade est d&rsquo;une grande puret\u00e9 et est con\u00e7u pour le contact direct avec la peau. Sa fonction premi\u00e8re est de former une barri\u00e8re protectrice et d&#8217;emp\u00eacher l&rsquo;\u00e9vaporation de l&rsquo;eau \u00e0 la surface de la peau. <\/p>\n<p>Applications : Cr\u00e8mes et lotions, savons et nettoyants, baumes \u00e0 l\u00e8vres, d\u00e9odorants, traitement des peaux s\u00e8ches et craquel\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vaseline de qualit\u00e9 pharmaceutique<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La vaseline pharmaceutique doit passer plusieurs \u00e9tapes de filtration et \u00eatre totalement exempte d&rsquo;impuret\u00e9s nocives. Elle est largement utilis\u00e9e comme base dans les m\u00e9dicaments topiques. <\/p>\n<p>Applications : Pommades pour br\u00fblures, cr\u00e8mes antiseptiques, pommades antibiotiques topiques, traitement des escarres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vaseline de qualit\u00e9 industrielle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans ce grade, la performance technique est privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e par rapport aux normes de puret\u00e9 du contact humain.<\/p>\n<p>Applications : Pr\u00e9vention de la corrosion des m\u00e9taux, lubrification des charni\u00e8res, protection des \u00e9quipements de construction, production de graisses industrielles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vaseline de qualit\u00e9 semi-industrielle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ce type de produit se situe entre la qualit\u00e9 industrielle et la qualit\u00e9 cosm\u00e9tique. Il pr\u00e9sente une puret\u00e9 mod\u00e9r\u00e9e et est utilis\u00e9 dans des applications o\u00f9 un contact humain direct \u00e0 long terme n&rsquo;est pas n\u00e9cessaire, mais o\u00f9 une qualit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 industrielle est requise. <\/p>\n<p>La vaseline est l&rsquo;un des d\u00e9riv\u00e9s du p\u00e9trole les plus importants en raison de sa structure stable, de ses fortes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s occlusives et de son profil de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9 (lorsqu&rsquo;elle est correctement raffin\u00e9e). Elle joue un r\u00f4le majeur dans les industries cosm\u00e9tiques, pharmaceutiques et industrielles. <\/p>\n<p>La qualit\u00e9 finale de la vaseline d\u00e9pend directement du processus de purification et de l&rsquo;\u00e9limination des compos\u00e9s nocifs tels que les HAP.
